Head for the rolling hills to escape the heat of the plains in the cool of tea plantations. The entire island is teeming with bird life, and exotics like elephants and leopards are not uncommon. To top it all off, the people are friendly, the food is delicious and costs are low.

Marco Polo considered Sri Lanka the finest island of its size in all the world, and you'll likely agree after exploring the country's fabled delights. What takes your fancy? Beaches? The coastal stretch south of Colombo offers palm-lined sandy expanses as far as the eye can see. Culture? Try the Kandyan dances, a procession of elephants or the masked devil dances. Ruins? You'll find enough ancient and inspiring architecture in the cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa to satisfy that inner archaeologist.

Day 01
Arrival at the Airport and transfer to Colombo.P. M. City tour of Colombo, including Visits to the Residential, Commercial and Bazaar areas.Overnight Hotel Ceylon Intercontinental, Colombo (5 star).

Day 02
Leave for Habarana visiting an Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela en- route in time to witness the bathing and bottle-feeding of the baby Elephants.P. M. Excursion to Polonnaurwa, the medieval capital of Sri Lanka Overnight The Village or similar.

Day 03
Leave for Kandy visiting the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya En route. Also visit a Spice Garden & Batik Factory. P. M. Sightseeing of Kandy, including a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens, Arts & Crafts Manufacturers, Market Place, Temple of the Tooth and a cultural show.Overnight Hotel Casamara, Kandy.

Day 04
Leave for Nuwara Eliya visiting a Tea Plantation and Factory en-route.Overnight Hotel Windsor, Nuwara Eliya.

Day 05
Leave for Ella Adventure Park.Overnight Priyankara Hotel.

Day 06
Leave for Yala National Park, the premier National Park in Sri Lanka and proceed to Haldamulla to a Bungalow located on the eastern ridge of the central mountains. Rest and prepare for the trek.Overnight Horton Plains Lodge.

Day 07
Trek to Horton Plains – this trek is approximately 5Hrs with a packed Lunch en route. The route ascends through scrub Jungle and tea estates and the final 5 km are on the vast plains at an elevation of 7,200 ft. After 4 hrs of trekking, back-up vehicles will meet clients and could shuttle any clients if necessary to the campsite / dormitory.

Day 08
Trek to " World's End " and the beautiful " Bakers Falls ". After lunch trek through the plains to Agrapatna Estate. A short 5 ½ km down hill walk.Back up vehicles meet clients for the transfer to Upper Glencairn Bungalow at Dickoya. This former tea planter’s bungalow is ideally located with a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains.Overnight Upper Glencairn Bungalow.

Day 09
Full day at leisure to relax and prepare for the strenuous climb of Adams Peak.Leave after dinner to Nallathanniya where the climb of the peak begins.Climb begins at midnight in order to reach the summit by dawn to watch the Sunrise.

Day 10
Descend peak and transfer to Kitulgala.A little town on the banks of the Kelani River and the film location of “Bridge on the River Kwai”. P. M. At leisure / rest to recover from the morning trek. Overnight Plantation Hotel (beside the Kelani River).

Day 11
Begin Whitewater rafting excursion.The rafting begins further upstream which winds down through lush forests, hills and sand bars, taking approximately 02 hrs and ends back at the Plantation Hotel. The rafting is a level 3 Categorization.P. M. Transfer to Hikkaduwa with sightseeing of Galle en route.Overnight Coral Gardens Hotel, Hikkaduwa.

Day 12
At leisure by the beach / optional diving, snorkeling and fishing.Overnight Coral Gardens Hotel, Hikkaduwa.

Day 13
Departure transfers to the Airport in time for flight.Maximum group size is 08 pax.Meals at hotels will be on set-menu or buffet depending on the occupancy.Packed lunch will be consumed on day 07.
